24 years for the realization, 15 million dollars in costs, and over 5 million visitors who between June 24 and July 8, 1995 visited the Berlin Parliament building shown after its packaging. High symbolic value for Germany and for the whole world (the fire of the building on February 27th of '33 gave rise to the Nazi escalation), Wrapped Reichstag, is the most difficult challenge of the duo. Kratchmarova writes: the project "consisted in being able to fix and unroll correctly the 70 maxi fabric panels made by hand and sewn one by one that would cover the facades, towers and roof of the entire Reichstag without leaving any "hole". In total, 100,000 square meters of narrow-meshed polypropylene fabric covered with aluminum and 15,600 meters of blue rope of 3.2 centimeters in diameter, always in polypropylene, were used".
