His works tell the contemporary through the use of objects produced by it, filtered by an ironic vision of everyday life that, in the recovery of things and their reinterpretation, finds the most congenial dimension. The works are therefore the result of a dialogue with the society of the present, in which every object can become a "work of art". His creations become small puzzles to be solved: the objects take on new vitality through their simple combination, the literary assonance becomes fertile land for the construction of funny neologisms. Bonfadini, an apparently light artist, tries to undermine clichés and conventions of our time, using words as "tools" of the trade.
Fixtures
From the encounter between characters and everyday objects, ironic installations come to life. A sort of tiny sit commedy of extreme lightness and sagacity. However, behind the apparent readings there is much more: an exercise in reading that goes beyond the obvious, a story of our contemporary through the objects produced by it. A microcosm invisible to the most, which is highlighted as a magnifying glass.
Manufacturing
This series of works traces the main philosophy, that of provocation through irony and sarcasm. It includes all those works made through the combination of different objects and / or the play on words. They are works realized through different artistic interventions (assembly, inclusion, photomontage, installation, graphic and digital ideas) in which each object becomes an integral part of the work. They express freedom from techniques and styles: Bonfadini is free to concretize thought with absolute sincerity.
Photography
These works represent the photographic development of the installation work, through the design and realization of photographic sets. Like the installations, they tell moments of everyday life, contaminated by an ironic and sarcastic vision of the present.
Posters
With the intention of telling the vices and virtues of our time, the advertising image of a work becomes art itself. In fact, the installation represented is dismissed from its function. All that remains is his testimony in the form of a Manifesto, made in five copies. The Manifestos ironically question political correctness through the use of equivocal language, without censorship. Embracing the dimension of advertising marketing, the title of the work becomes a slogan.
Painting
This section is dedicated to pictorial works, works painted in acrylic on canvas or paper. A minimalist representation, which maintains the artist's philosophy unchanged: silhouettes free from references. Large monochromatic backgrounds highlight a surreal state, a space in which moments of unreal everyday life take shape. Works that immortalize the instant, disconnecting it from the event.
Useless Posters
A series of works printed on paper, that is, large advertising posters. In these works we find the essential components of a path already investigated. No pictorial, manual or photographic intervention: with a decidedly minimalist appearance, these works can be defined in precarious balance. Words are sparingly placed in monochromatic space. The Useless Manifestos are the parody of our reality: they undermine the inputs that come to us as irrefutable truths.
